How To: Make and sell digital collage sheets?

Hey all, I've noticed that Etsy now offers automatic file downloads for digital listings. Before that was possible, I was too intimidated by the process of getting the files to the customer, but now I'd love to try it out since a lot of what I collect and sell would be great for that market.

I don't have a good grasp on how to make or sell them, though, and would love some advice on how it works!

As a note, I do own Photoshop, and I understand the copyright laws, but if you'd like to talk about them for others who might be interested, that's fine.

- How do I make them?
- What size should each image be?
- What DPI?
- Layers or a "flat" sheet?
- What file type do buyers prefer?
- How many images would you include in a sheet?
- How do you price them?
- Mistakes to watch out for?

Thanks in advance!

Re: How To: Make and sell digital collage sheets?

There a quite a few online tutorial on how to do this. generally each sheet is 12" x 12". It is really up to you how many sheets you sell in a set. Some sell them singly and some sell in packs of 12.
Just check out others shops that sell these items and you will get all the info you need. There are lots of ways to create and format them.

whoops i don't think i answered your question properly :/
Flat 300dpi Jpeg or png files are the standard. You can always offer both. The sizing depends on the image you are selling.
