How Many Sellers in A Category of Merchandise?

How does an Etsy seller find out how many Etsy stores are selling the same type of merchandise. For instance how many jewelry sellers, vintage pattern sellers, etc. I'm fairly new, and never have been able to tell how saturated the market is for my category.

Just search for what you sell and see how many items show up. That will include other items too, but it will give you an idea. Since you mostly sell vintage patterns, here is that search.
