Our 10 week Holiday Boot Camp program to get your shop ready for the holidays is almost upon us!

Post here if you are looking for a buddy to pair up with to keep you motivated and get feedback about your shop updates. Post what kind of buddy you would most like to partner with and reach out to any other posters who fit your needs. Are you looking for an artists or curator who sells similar items or maybe your looking for someone nearby so you can meet in person to brainstorm.

Oh my gosh this is sooo exciting, I'm so grateful for this opportunity for help!

I would LOVE a buddy! I have just opened my Etsy shop a few weeks ago. I sell luxury handmade cards for any occasion! I work full time so can only work on my shop and items during evenings and weekends so my free time is limited, but I am determined to succeed and progress and am committed to take every opportunity to maximize sales in the coming holiday season :-)

If possible I would love a buddy within the UK, as currently I only sell within the UK, although I would be open to a buddy who would advise me on international selling - I find it a little daunting!!! I want to maximise my shops viewings and hopefully sell lots of lovely cards! I would be so grateful for a buddy who has experience who can give advice on things I could improve, critique my shop, make suggestions, guide me through that initial setting up struggle, advertise each others shops and items, etc. However, I also think a committed newby like myself could also prove valuable as a buddy; discover new things, and grow as sellers together! so would equally be very happy with a brand new buddy too! ...... are we allowed more than one buddy? (cheeky grin!)

It would be fantastic if my buddy (buddies? :-D ) could offer complementary items, eg. gifts, chrsitmas items, etc.

I'm SO excited at my first Chrsitmas as a seller :-D

Great idea this is my first Christmas , I would like a buddy :)
I work full time and have a daughter I work on my store in the evenings.
I'm open to any buddy :) I have design skills in photoshop and cad skills so can give tips on that area aswell. And always come up with different ideas. Love to think out of the box . I will also help promoto your store on my Facebook and treasuries share the love lol

I have sent out some convos to find a buddy. I've started from the last page working backward. Last time I tried this my buddy was enthusiastic for a few weeks and then apparently had to pull out when life got too crazy.

I am an artist who takes the business aspect of being an artist very seriously and I feel now is a good time to ramp up my etsy venue.

This is my second holiday season here on Etsy however last year, I was moving from across the globe and couldn't actually do much about sales and promotion.
I have worked a lot this year on my shop from SEO to improved photos but I am still not good on self promoting :-)
So it would be nice to have a buddy to help me and advice me on the best way to put myself out there. Help me with promoting my shop!

I DESPERATELY need a buddy! This will be my first Holiday season on Etsy. I want to say that I'm super pumped, but I can't. I need someone who will motivate me and give me a good kick in the rear every once and a while.

Ever since the beginning of Sept., when I got back from vacation, I have really lacked motivation to create more stuff. I almost gave up on Etsy.

I can also bring stuff to the table. I am very good at encouraging others and I'm on the computer all the time (posting this during my lunch hour at work). I make a variety of things. Right now I am into glass etching and crocheted dish rags. I also make jewlery and just about anything else my ADD heart desires. Anyway, send me a msg if you want to be my buddy( I feel like I'm filling out a personals add).

I am new to Etsy (open 10 weeks) and would like a Buddy that meets roughly the following qualifications:

Someone who makes their Etsy business their full time business (or doesn't work full time somewhere and does this on the side)

Someone who sells similarly styled items - bohemian/gypsy/hippie jewelry

Someone who will be kind but honest and willing to teach me new things

The areas in which I think I need the most improvement are my pictures and product descriptions. Thanks and I can't wait to get started!

Im looking for a buddy! Im a new mom and I abandoned my shop for about a year while he was so young. Now Im ready to pick it back up and need a buddy who also leads a busy life. Maybe we can help each other focus and make small goals in order to be proud of little victories :). Help pick and chose what to spend energy on instead of wanting to do it all and ending up not doing anything :P

Hi, this buddy idea is great. I am new to etsy and frankly, not very good at matketing my own items. I make, and usually hanpaint, jewelry mostly on "found" items. I need encouragement because I easily get bummed if no one is interested in my stuff. I work, but do have plenty of time to create. I will welcome critiques of both my shop and my work. I would love other thoughts and ideas.

Hi! I would love a partner to share critiques, ideas, encouragement, experiences, etc. This is the first holiday season where I'm putting a real effort in, starting with 2 holiday shows/faires. Someone in the bay area or San Francisco would be great but not necessary.
Also, I make bentwood rings, and much to my surprise most of my orders have been for wedding or anniversary bands, even though my shop doesn't say anything about weddings or anniversaries! So if someone out there thinks their products could offer a good partnership- I'm into the idea. Or if anyone simply has suggestions for how to leverage this market. Seems like those strictly in the wedding and anniversary market don't have as much to use around the holidays? How do you get repeat customers when people only get married once? This is the help I need. Thanks!

my shop sells kits that teach traditional skills. i make little free movies for my 'old school' that teach you how to make the projects. anyone think they might be a good fit? i'm brand new and would love some help, and to lend a hand in any way i can. x elisa
