Between August and the start of December I had 23 sales! Now I have not have ONE since the start of December! How to I jump start things back up and has anyone else been feeling a slump?

TIA

Re: Hit a slump

Well I've been reading the forums and some are saying it's really slow and others are saying they are doing well. A lot of people are paying off bills from Christmas so are tightening their purse strings. It's also a bad economy that affects sales.

Re: Hit a slump

most of us have hit a slump...my way of dealiing with it is to redo some stuff in my shop, tweak photos, tags and titles, do a little promoting in new places and add new items...i think the attention and activity in your shop is good for both you and your shop and it keeps your shop up in rankings even if you are not making sales...

there's always a lot to analyze--what was selling best? when? to whom? why? for special occasions or events? think of new ways to market...

have fun and good luck

Re: Hit a slump

Hanging there. It is always slow in January. My best advice is get more items listed if you can afford to make them. There seems to be some crazy dynamics that my views go up when I have over 50 items and than again at 100.
It will pick up again. I would start promoting for Easter also.

Thank you for the good ideas, hadn't even thought starting up Easter tie dye yet! I should get on that!
