How many of you are hiding some of your listings for the fear of selling so much of them and getting swamped.
since I started my etsy shop 2016 I have the activity books hidden in fear of selling to many and being swamped for months and not being able to get out in the sunshine with my kids. I had 3-10 views a day since I started in may and once I activated those listings my views have sky rocketed from 40-100. Every time I hear someone favorite my shop or a listing I get scared.
Made me smile :) I had this in the early days. Had so many folk waiting for items to be made that it caused me stress. My solution was like Barbara said, raise prices until you're coping at a manageable rate. :)
I agree. Raise the prices. Or temporarily de-activate them. Or put your shop on vacation just while until you catch up. Many options. Best of luck and enjoy this gorgeous summer weather! :)
I don't think I can raise my prices any higher, they are at 1000.00 and 1500.00. They are one of a kind and rich folks like them a lot for there grandbabies. 1 book swamps me.
I have considered but cannot find anyone that knows what I know and does it to my standards. My mother has come to help me but she doesn't know enough about embroidery to make the process go any faster. I could hire someone to help me sew the books together but its not worth it, because I don't have enough done. its one of those kind of deals where I am on my own.
I'd love to see what a $1500 activity book looks like! The listings you currently have up look fantastically detailed. If projects of the size of the more expensive books stress you out, can you scale them back, make them fewer pages?
