I've been adding some feedback on a lot of your posts, and I feel a lot of people have the same issue regarding enhancing sales, store and listings. If you want to extend your advertising efforts by spending some dedicated time, determination and no money, look into SEO!

On top of the SEO (search engine optimization), I have a site to suggest:
Klout.com

Basically it's a dashboard showing how much you influence certain topics, your audience and things of that sort.

If you have social media, a blog, Instagram, etc. I would recommend using this because 1- it's free to use and 2- it's nothing extra you have to do! Just a helpful tool to see if you have enough klout in your expertise area.

Laura, I think your tItles are okay- I think you need cohesiveness, though. Some of the words are capitalized and some aren't. I would go through and change all the first letters of each word to be capitalized.

I also noticed that you don't accept gift cards- is that not an option internationally yet?

Another tip, I get a lot of traffic through twitter. You should definitely look into starting one- I know there is hesitation based on the terms and conditions, but you can post things about fashion, illustration news, or even a sale going on in your shop!

Make sure you're updating your listings as well. Whether it be a photo/ title update- the more updated you are, the more relevant you become to your keywords- which is why Search Engine Optimization is so crucial.

Okay, sorry I'm such a nerd about being an Etsy Seller but this article is crazy! Etsy grew 5 million members since MAY this year! Even more important to stay up to date with everything!

Tara- awesome! Please let me know how they work for you! Obviously you're not going to see traffic shoot through the roof overnight- it takes time building up the rapport (I know, bummer, right?!) so if you get discouraged, just keep on keeping on :)

Hey, Kelly. Thanks for this information and these links. Have just read one entirely through and will get to the other later.

I don't have a specific question but I do find the advice on SEO changes just as I think I'm getting the hang of it (I'm on the SEO Relevancy Team and generally follow what they tell me to do), but every once in a while, I'd like another pair of eyes on what I'm doing. If you have a few extra minutes, would you take a look and offer me a few comments?

From what I saw, here's what I found:

Some of your tags are very specific- I feel that Wild Woman Beads don't get you a ton of hits, but maybe just the word beads would. For your materials maybe add Sterling Silver and nothing else to the tag.

Your pictures are wonderful! I think some of them though kind of get lost in the background. I would try to rotate some of your images from the same listing to have a cleaner background would be helpful.

I noticed you're mainly using your Facebook to post listings- maybe offer a coupon code for your Facebook followers! You have plenty! (Which I'm pretty jealous of :))

AND! I noticed you had Free Shipping!! Get that word out!! People love free shipping :)

Lastly, I'm not sure if the periods in your titles interfere with your listings. I would look into that a little bit. I've seen people use the | in between their descriptor words.

Thanks, Kelly. Actually, I've offered coupon codes to my Facebook followers on three separate occasions and never had a taker. I've had so little luck with coupon codes that I rarely use them any more, although I certainly use and love them when a shop I favorite has a sale. I'm not sure why it is that none of my followers use the codes, but...that's the reality.

I like the idea of rotating photos. Good suggestion. Ant thoughts on how to "get the word out" about free shipping?

I'll also try the tag "beads" instead of wildwomanbeads on some of my items, and see if that draws more attention.
