Help with shop and listings promotion

Hello,
I've been thinking about it for a long time, and I think this is what I need: I need someone like a sales agent but a smaller version of it and more into the online field who knows exactly and most of all, enjoys working on the promotion online. I've been trying and failing, probably because I'm not the right person to do it. But I think my online shop needs more visibility, more links from outside blogs, and so...
Do you know if there is a name to define this profile I need?
Does anybody work with someone like this?

I don't know if there is a specific name for online promotion, but in the jewelry industry this person is called a sales Representative. The representative's job is to travel around to trade shows and boutiques selling your jewelry for you. They take about 10-20% commission on every sale.

Sorry, I don't know if thats the same as an online promoter, but it may be a good starting point

There are some "Consultants" out there that will work with you and specifically target Etsy sellers. But I would be picky about who you choose, as I've seen some that are really good at making themselves sound like experts but if you look at their credentials they really have no business charging for their advice.

It sounds like what you are really looking for though is a PR person. Some one who manages accounts, networks on behalf of the company and creates a public persona of your business. Whether or not something like this exists for micro businesses however I'm not sure. I can't say I've heard of any, but I would definitely agree that it is a need in the community.
