Help please!

Hi everyone!

A customer purchased the easter bunny hat 5 days ago. It is a made to order hat. But she didn't choose the size or color.
Here is my listing:
https://www.etsy.com/listing/118979991/newbornbaby-bunny-hat-with-floppy-ears

When I look on my invoice it says that the buyer wasn't able to see variations(sizes and colors), because she bought it using mobile device or app.
I sent her convos, direct emails, didn't hear from her.
So now I don't know what to do.

What should I do in situations like this? Any advice, please!

Tanya

Re: Help please!

If you don't hear back in a few more days, I would either cancel the sale, or send it as shown in the photos. Tough call.

BTW, that hat is so freaking adorable!!

Re: Help please!

I have actually heard of people sending a letter via snail mail. It might take a couple days, but it will get their attention. I also wonder if you can look them up on Facebook. That might be stalking though.
Jen's right, that hat is super adorable.

Re: Help please!

I have seen listings that said that if the buyer doesn't specify, seller will send "X size and color" which seems like a pretty good idea.

Re: Help please!

Definitely wait until you hear from her. You don't want an upset buyer if it's the wrong size.
If she's a logical buyer, then she would understand the delay in shipping.

Re: Help please!

I think you should just wait to hear from her. I've run into the same problem more than once. Some customers are not used to Etsy so they don't realize they have a message, and sometimes their e-mail address isn't up-to-date. Wait a week more, and then maybe cancel the order.

Re: Help please!

That is difficult. I would wait a few more days to see if she replies by email and if not I would send a letter via snail mail. She might not be familiar with Etsy so doesn't know how to use messages.

Hope you manage to get it sorted.

Re: Help please!

Have you tried to email her? I don't rely on etsy convos 100%.

Re: Help please!

Tanya don't stress too much. I think you've done everything possible. Every reasonable person will understand that. If everything goes smoothly you can send her a little present or issue a discount coupon code for future purchases.
