Help! Unconfirmed Shipping Address

I got an order early this morning. I went to try and print the label, but USPS said that they could not confirm the listed address. I know there are some streets that have two names, both a word and a number. The listed address seems like a cross between the two, and I can't figure it out. The buyer ordered a Holiday Card, so I would like to get it out to them asap.
I messaged and emailed the buyer asking them to confirm it. How long should I hold off on shipping it if they aren't quick with a response? As stated, its for the holidays, so I don't want to wait too long.

If they paid via Paypal go to your paypal account and see if a phone number is listed with the order / payment. Then call them.
You could also take the card to the post office and have them look it up for you, they have done this for me before. To make sure it exists, or maybe zip code is off by one number, etc...

Do they have a different suggestion for the address? Maybe see how far off that is from what the buyer gave you as their address.

One creepy time, I tried Google mapping in a similar situation....Not the greatest option, and I felt weird doing it, but I got my answer.

I've had this happen too. They may be living in a new housing development usps doesn't "see" it yet. If you go into the PO and ask them you CAN ship it from the counter. You don't get the rate of online but it can be done.

I think I ran into that once here. I compared the address on Etsy to what was on the buyer's Paypal account. The addresses matched and it was a confirmed address on Paypal, so I went ahead and shipped it.
