Help Please! Shipping question...

HELP! I'm shipping a fairly large item. 23" x 18" x 18" and 14.6 pounds. Parcel post says 29.99 and Priority says 11.82??? What? I don't want this to be sent back but of course I want the cheap rate... is this right?

It's saying that on both etsy and USPS site... just seems that that's an insane price for this size of package!

I've send some larger weight packages Priority because it was cheaper.
