Hearts Go Down - Sales Go Up

While it's nice to get favorited and get the hearts. I've noticed that I've been getting less hearts lately and more sales. I think it's often my team members that heart my work, and I love it, and I'm sure it helps. But I've also noticed that the buyers don't always favorite your work before buying it.
So don't be discouraged if you don't get as many hearts as you once did or think you should have.

Absolutely agreed!!! I would say less than half of our sales were hearted by the buyer before they bought!

I love getting hearts too but your right - almost all my sales were never favourited by the buyer before they sold, maybe about 80%

I agree as well most people who purchased from me never hearted my item. They just bought it"

yeah I agree. Most of my customers I generate are new to Etsy.

Yes, the same with me.
My customers are very new to Etsy. Some customers just came and gone, hardly to ask them for the feedback.

Yep, same here. I've been getting lots of hearts lately, but not much as far as sales. Wish I could trade the hearts for sales, but I'll take what I can get!

I totally agree..very few of my buyers had hearted my work before they bought it! Janeane is right on..

Oh, no, I have been getting lots of favorites lately, 50-70 per day, but no sales, i hope this is not a bad sign.... :(
