Happy Friday! What Are Your Weekend Goals?

Happy Friday Everyone!

I know a lot of us work "day" jobs during the week so the weekends are our time to craft and create art.

What are your goals for this weekend? Are you taking the weekend off since it is Labor Day weekend or using that extra day for more craftiness?

Weekend Goals:
-Take pictures and list items that are just waiting!
- Speaking of which, ambush my boyfriend to take more men's hat pictures!
- crochet at least 1 circle scarf and laptop case
-Be sad I have to work on monday at the car dealership but hope we close early!

I'm a stay-at-home homeschooling mom- so that is my "day job". Scratch that- it's my 24/7 job! LOL
My goal for this weekend (while hubby is home to help distract the kids away from me!) is to finish the samples of my Fall line so I can take pictures of them on some adorable babies next week! :D

I am going to try to crochet a few hats in between my son's soccer tournament games. Or maybe I will just bring it with me! lol I missed getting my 100th item listed by the end of August, so maybe it will happen this weekend. I am also going to work on setting myself a schedule since my son starts back at school next Wednesday. I really want to try to set specific times to get things done.

I have to finish up a custom order for a local customer and get it delivered. (Thank goodness she only lives a few houses down from mine.)
Work on my Halloween themed candles and get them ready for the shop.
Finish taking pictures of the candles I have waiting to be posted.
Start on my plans for the fall craft show I hope to take part in.
And of course, do laundry, dishes, clean the house, get my son ready for school, meal-plan...all that wonderful 'mom' stuff! :0)

I just listed my 100th item! then it sold and I'm listing another one. Won't catch me complaining! I am working on my Christmas Collection, making sure everything is ready, that I know where everything is, say hi to that guy over there, (o yeah, he's my husband). The usual.

Just received another supply order so I need to relist what I can and list some of the new items.

Plus keep preparing for the big time order coming in a couple of weeks.

I've only been selling consistantly since March, but I just passed my 600th sale and didn't realize it till today! (completely missed 500 too!)

Get my orders from this week made and out the door. If there is any extra time, I need to make some new styles to add to my shop for next week. This week was so insane, I couldn't add a single new item.

Catch up on the crochet I didn't get done this week. And I don't have a "real" job, so I shouldn't be this far behind!

Love hearing everyone be so productive! It's inspiring :)

I hope to get a second blog up and running for a project I am doing with 5 other crafty friends, make some handmade supplies, make a cute packaging card for the supplies, and get their photos taken. Oh, and if I have time, research a Steampunk themed convention or fair in Southern California.

We are on our way to the lake. I started making glass tiles and am going to work on them this weekend. Getting ready for fall craft shows. I do really well at craft shows but not good on Etsy. I need to work on the appearance for my shop but can't find the time with working full time too. I am almost ready to give up on Etsy. I am just breaking even. I am hoping the upcoming holidays bring me success. Have a great weekend everyone

Today is laundry, grocery day. Tonight I'm going to fire the kiln - it's full of new stuff! Tomorrow I will be partaking in a day of family fun, floating down the Shenandoah River in tubes. Hopefully we will get done before the rain from Hurrican Isaac hits. Monday I will be unloading the kiln, taking pictures and hopefully starting to list. Tuesday is back to my day job :(

My Saturday was a disaster! Got nothing done. The pattern for my doll just didn't work anymore! Kept reworking the pattern and then I had to change another part to accommodate. I got a new sewing machine and that was a bugger to get going! But actually, reworking my pattern and a better sewing machine has improved my product so I shouldn't be too unhappy.

Our daughter is home for the weekend from her first week of college :) so the shop won't get a lot of attention, but of course I will be checking for sales, convos and e-mails!

I'm constantly working/going to school/crafting all throughout the week, but I have today off entirely so I plan to:
-finally suss out my about page
-work on some new faux leather projects
-post new hair accessories
-sketch some new ideas

While Etsy has been very slow for me, it's been a good weekend locally. I completed an order for 4 bible bookmarks, and made another 6 sales.

Current goals are to finish taking photos and get those posted this weekend. I would also like to have at least 75 items in the shop by Monday.

I finished about half my goals and am back at work today at my "day" job. However, I am telling myself that I need to order food in tonight and spend all night completing the rest of my weekend goals.

Someone just told me that I should start a Tumblr account, so I think that is being added to my to-do list.

Been there, done that!

I'm kicking myself right now because I ran out of supplies (never happened to me before) to finish a few pieces and with the holiday my local bead store is closed!

I did place an order from one of my favorite Etsy shops on Friday, but I won't receive that until tomorrow! So now, I am reorganizing some things and taking inventory so that I can order more supplies on Etsy!
