Hand made by ***

Has any one besides me happened upon shops that are selling jewelry that appears to be purchased from a wholesaler (such as Panda Hall in China) but the shop owner states the items are hand made by her/himself?

If so, what do you do? Do you report this to Etsy; and, if so, is Etsy responsive to you or cross that you've filed a report?

Thanks for your responses,
Juls

You can report it. What will happen, I don't know. I've never heard of retribution for doing so, however. Just frustration that it didn't do any good. It doesn't hurt to try.

That's just wrong....an annoying! I spend so much time making all my items and that just seems like cheating.

Just be aware that etsy considers attaching a commercially made charm to earwires or a chain as 'handmade'.
