HUGE spike in views in a 3 hour period

I can't explain it. All were from a direct source. And it was spread out through my products. Can't figure out why. I've checked out Craft cult and I wasn't featured in a front page treasury.

I had the VERY same thing happen about a week ago! Had 22 shop and 254 listing views between 3 and 4 am last Sunday. I only had 1 (item) favorite all day, and no sales.

I'm not running any ads, and was not featured anywhere that I'm aware of. Probably the wierdest thing is that nearly all of those views were of items that had aleeady sold.

Have you checked your stats on GA? Sometimes that will give you a hint.

Or if you started a forum thread that can give you a spike in views as well.

Unfortunately Etsy often counts views from within teams as views from an unknown source.
Your team mates checking out your shop however doesn't often result in sales.

I've never figured out GA so I rarely look at it. In my situation, most (if not all) of the surge in views was of items that had already been sold ... going back several years! THAT is nothing short of weird.
