HOLIDAY!

Im going on holiday in a few days. I was wondering what to do with my shop. I am going away for two weeks, but my cousin has kindly offered to house sit for me and also post out any orders i may get.
The problem is that he can only post out weekends as he is at work. how do I specify this.I wil be deactivating the listings that have to be custom made but the items that are ready made how do I notify people of this small delay...do i contact them direct or should i put something in shop announcements...knowing this is not always noticed?

Put something in the description and also adjust the processing time. Also, go to "Info & Appearance" and add the info to the 'message to buyers', in case they don't read descriptions. That should cover your bases.

You should definitely contact them directly if you want to avoid any troubles. Unfortunately, most people don't read shop announcement, description, policies or anything sent to them automatically.
