I turned on my sales tax for my shop a few days ago. I believe it should be set at the rate of the county/city I live in at 8.25%
Then I changed the rate, as the BOE rep told me I should make it a flat blanket rate for CAlifornia of 7.25%
Since I have changed the rate, I have had a few California sales, but for some reason my customers are not being charged sales tax??? Is the calculator function on etsy down?
I had one CA sale before I changed the rate to 7.25% and the customer was charged tax on that sale....but none charged since (?) I don't know whats wrong or what changed..
Has anyone else had this problem?
