Good idea or Bad idea

We are a boutique that specializes in hairbows but we sell paintings too. Right now we are featuring four selected paintings. Is this a good idea or bad idea?

I'm new, but why not put your bows in one section and your painting's in another. I personally wouldn't have the painting's as you are already specialised in bows. Having only 4 painting's makes me think that the bows aren't selling and so you are trying something else. You could set up another shop for the painting's perhaps or have a stronger selection of painting's.

Since we started weve sold over 60 hairbows and 2 paintings. I thought it would be cool to feature them but i like your idea better. Does it cost to create a second shop?

Btw, we have a total of 7 and 3 that expired that were considering relisting. Not sure yet about the re-listing part but we'll see.

Generally it's a good idea for you to branch out and get another store for thigns that are unrelated. It just helps with cohesion. But if that's out of the question, as long as your store is easy to navigate.

I agree with the previous. Have two shops, it will make your life easier in the long run, and will probably lead to more views!

I have been toying with this for months. Read the Etsy Do's and Don'ts before plunging into it, as you cannot have duplicates in your shops.

I would either 1) open a new shop or 2) change your name. Looking at your shop name, no one would think you sell paintings.
