Glassine Bags?

Just a quick question - any advice on where to buy glassine bags? I've seen a few Etsy shops carry them but would rather pick em up locally if I can find them. Thanks for any help!

Re: Glassine Bags?

Try a photographer supply store. They are used a lot for protecting pictures.

Re: Glassine Bags?

They are often used for food, maybe a restaurant supply store if you have one nearby?

Re: Glassine Bags?

uline.com would probably have them... nashvillewraps.com as well... both sell packing materials, Uline has more of an industrial bend but carries virtually everything. Nashville Wraps carries a lot of food-grade items.

Don't know locally, but both of those companies ship very quickly. Uline orders usually get to me in 1-2 days.

Re: Glassine Bags?

When I was looking to get some myself I found different sites, but after comparing prices and service I was happy to order from two different etsy sellers. I have ordered several times with and highly recommend them as they have good prices, and great service: AriaCrafts and littlepaperthings. HOpe that helps.

Re: Glassine Bags?

Thanks everyone! I've used clearbags but since I only need a small amount I'd have to pay a 'small order fee'... and I'd rather save shipping costs too if I could pick up 20 from the store. I'm looking for those waxy looking ones.

@Christina - I didn't think about food stores. Maybe Party City since they have all that food supplies. Thanks!
