Gift card and other types of payment

I have this customer that sent cash. She said she was sending a MO... but OK cash is good as longs as it got here.
Now she asks would I accept a Visa Gift Card for payment.
Has anyone here had this happen or accepted something like this?

she should be able to use a visa gift card just like a credit card. they work everywhere.
