Getting lazy....

So last week I posted a couple of new items, but ever since then I've been getting lazy. I haven't been writing ideas down for new headbands or new necklaces and I feel like how I'm feeling right now will ultimately affect the success of my shop. Don't get me wrong, I want to do more things and add more items but since I'm in college and it's crunch-time now because of finals, finding a summer job etc. I just don't feel up to it anymore. Does anyone else feel like this sometimes? If so, how have you gotten yourself out of the lazy phase?

The nice thing abut etsy is that as long as you fill your orders, it is OK if you put less effort into it when you are busy wit other things. You should be focused on finals right now, and getting a summer job. That's no being lazy, it's just having your priorities straight. When finals are over and you've found a job, then is the time to set aside some of your free time every day, or a few times a week, to make and list new items and promote your shop.

i know how you feel.i´m working on my diploma thesis and as i study chemistry that means standing in the lab 40 or more hours a week. so basically it´s a full time job with additional work at home (study, homework, preparing for a conference, ....) if i don´t feel like working in the evening i still have the time going to and from university and i always have some work with me so a little something gets done...motivation comes back alone and then i do more

I was working almost nonstop the beginning of this week but it's been two to three days where I lack the energy to be as active as I was. I used to post items everyday but now I just can't work hard. I need sometime to relax and take care of myself while monitoring my store. I see some really good improvement and I hope everything will go extremely well from now :)

Don't worry, I'd say everybody has 'lazy times' at some point! You should focus your energy and time in what is most important for you right now!

I know how you feel too - Sometimes it's more important to focus on the current stuff now so you can have the energy back later for your shop :) It's ok to take a little break!

Focus on your finals, cut yourself some etsy slack...If you give yourself a break from thinking etsy... you might get some great new ideas, which can go a long way in breaking you out of your funk. (that's how it works for me anyway...!)
