Lets all have a look at our shop stats - look at your stats for the entire year - What is the TOP Keyword that brings views to your shop, and How Many Views did it bring? What do you sell in your Shop?
My Top Keyword: Lamp Views: 420 I Sell: Jewelry
(funny, because I have one lamp in my shop - I actually sell jewelry!)
I sell hair pieces from casual to formal, along with garter sets, all mainly for brides. I sell more for formal events than the regular headbands/ clips for adults and children :).
It was pretty spot on, haha.
Wish I could get those numbers UP though. Still streamlining everything.
Mens jewelry, followed closely by mens necklace, which I sell but haven't actually sold any mens jewelry so maybe its not what those searchers are really looking for?
Top Key Word: Eyeglass Chain Views: 487 I sell vintage button eyeglass chains, necklaces and bouquets
Although I check my stats at the end of each day, this was a fun and informative exercise (checking them for the past year). Going to play around some more with stats!
My Top Keyword: Crochet Baby Blanket Views: 644 (includes 4 from google and 5 from other search engines) I Sell: Crochet blankets (including ones for babies), Cowls and other crochet items
Really good question! I check daily but hadn't thought to go further - thanks for tip.
My Top Keyword: Airedale (no surprise there) Second top keyword: cat sculpture (gotta make more cats) Views: 179 and cat brought 62 I Sell: Handmade Pet Sculptures
Interesting thread! I don't sell items related to any of these keywords (I sell shop sets and business cards), but it's intriguing to note that the most popular keyword may be relatively irrelevant to your shop, or one you use less often.
Birthday card is my top hit... and I sell cards...
But my second top word is Panties
I have a card that relates to panties...it's a sexy card... but seriously, how many people are searching for panties on etsy? And who uses panties in a non-creepy way?? I've used it for effect, but obviously there are people out there searching for panties... haha.. someone cash in on that one!
