Full-time or Part-time Etsian?

Is Etsy your full-time job? Or it's your part time job?

If it's full-time..how many hours do you spend on Etsy per day?

If part-time..share with us about your full-time job.

Well, it depends. I guess part-time because I'm also a returning college student and mom/wife so Etsy is really my part-time job. So my hours are flexible with my other 'work' so I can really do it when I get the time.

Since I lost my job in Jan. I have made it my full time job.
I really haven't had much luck but it will come.....I'm sure.
I usually spend at least 4 hours a day or more.
Plus I am also crafting so that adds more time.

Part time right now. I work full time for the Idaho State Dept of Transportation designing highways, bridges and etc. So I am on here with the help of my wife about 10 hours a week and work on listing/sold items about 20 hours a week.

I guess it qualifies as full-time for me since I currently don't have another job, though I do volunteer a couple of times a week, and spend a good part of my day on the site or working on products.

I guess right now I'm a little backwards, My "real" job is a part time job as advertising designer for half of Michigan's newspapers (30 hrs a week) then I pretty much work on Etsy the entire rest of my time which definitely feels like full time plus some! I think I should get paid overtime, haha

Etsy is a part time thing for me right now... I juggle two jobs in the day, part time college librarian & barista at Starbucks, in Times Sq.

Part time. I work full time for a resort near Disney World (boooring). I wish I made enough on Etsy to make it my full time job but right now that just doesn't seem attainable or realistic.

For me this is a part time job since i am actually a full time student working towards her architecture degree!
I got to college during the day and craft at night :) i love it!

I have no idea by the end of the day everything blur together. lol

I am a stay at home mom who homeschools (that takes up most of my time) but I also babysit a girl before and after school and full-time during school vacations and during the summer and I have my store.

Etsy is full time job for me. Though I baby sit my close friend's kids for 2 hrs in the noon, I peek in now and then ;) One day I spend for creating and 4 days am on Etsy going through shops, working on titles or SEO, making listings, teams, discusions.. etc etc. :D

I work part time at my day job-about 25 hours per week and I work about 35 hours on my etsy shop. I'm seriously considering quitting my day job to give all my time to my business.

Part-time as I dont think I could ever crochet fast enough to make it full-time. I am also a full time mom, wife and daughter(My mom is in in the nursing home with early on-set dementia.) I also am a substitute teacher and the treasurer for my daughter's swim team.Ya, some days I feel like I am losing my mind. Crocheting keeps me sane. :-)

Etsy has become a full time job for me (40+ hours/week) But in reality I am a full time mom that is able to work from home to help provide for my family.

Well etsy is now my full time job. I had to quit my day job when I have a baby but when the baby is growing and giving me some spare time to sew I then started my etsy shop again (I had etsy shop long time before but had to close it down because I have no time to do it). I do sewing during day time about 3-4 hours and promoting at night time or early morning about 1-2 hours.

I just quit my day job last month due to some health issues. For now, my shop is my full time job and I feel like I am working on it from the time I get up until I go to bed at night. My goal is to be able to make enough to keep this as my full time gig but if not I will be looking for another job (at least part time) after I have surgery and am well enough to seek employment outside of the home again.

Full time, I run an office but I start checking Etsy at 5:30 and set up my tweets. Sew through out the day and check into forums. Just booked my first craft fair for June. I have worked hard to build my number of items in shop, but wouldn't it be great to sell them all. I sell most of my aprons out of my office, about 3 a week.
