Aloha All~I just wanted to put it out there for those of you who enjoy making treasuries that I personally find it very helpful if I am sent a convo with a link to the treasury.I can't always look through my circle and take the time to go and check out each one,but when someone convos me I almost always do.I am so grateful to have been featured in so many and really want to acknowledge and thank each wonderful curator.

I heard on here recently that sending certain convos is spamming, especially if they have coupons and such. But if you are just letting people know to look and that you've featured them, then Is sending a convo in regard to a treasury the same thing? I've wondered.

Taking a whole day to send convos? That is what I used to do to until I found Shmetsy's extensions and downloaded it. However, this "service" seems to have been removed from new users trying to utilize it. Does anyone have any other suggestions for dardawn? This extension allows one to notify the featured sellers in a click, a real dream.

As a courtesy, I feel everyone that is notified of a feature should acknowledge but alas, not always true. Even with the mass convo option, many sellers still do not respond...sigh.

hmmm....I don't usually send a convo to thank the curator,but thank them in the treasury itself.I figured that was better because I am thanking them,and also viewing/commenting/clicking etc.The exception of course is if they make any direct personal comments to be addressed.I don't expect others to respond to my convos when I share my treasury but that is just me.
When I make a treasury,after I finish I just convo the first person featured and then copy and paste that into all the other convos.It usually only takes me a few minutes to do it,and that is with my crappy slow internet working against me.
I also don't take it personally if people don't respond or comment on the treasury.Sometimes life gets the best of me and I get behind and have to choose between fulfilling my work obligations and catching up on treasuries.I like to think we are all doing the best we can with the time and energy we have.

to LittleShopofCrochets :I don't think letting people know about treasuries is spam,unless you add spam-like stuff aside from the treasury feature.On that same note,I find it unappealing when people comment on treasuries and leave info about sales,coupons etc in their shop.I find that to be spammy.

convos about treasuries are not spam - they used to be, but admin changed that rule a long time ago. I always tell people if they're in mine, but try to remember to add "no need to reply to this, but feel free to visit the treasury if you have time"

there used to be a tool which lets you send all the 16 convos at once, but I deleted it because it shows adverts and I didn't like it. schmetsy? something like that.

It takes very little time to send 16 convos. I open my treasury in a new window, "ctrl click" on each item which brings each up in a new tab. Then I write the first convo, and copy and paste it to each of the other sellers.

Thanks for bringing this up! I started my shop in July and had no idea about the protocol of sending a convo to sellers featured in your treasury. I've only had one sale and my activity feed is small enough to not have missed out on any that my items have been featured in, but I can completely see how easy it is to lose out on things in your feed - even with your circle unchecked!

I do copy and paste my first convo, per treasury, and then notify each person within the treasury by pasting. It does go pretty well that way, it is not the convo that bothers me, I like to be convo when I am in a Treasury. Convo to tell about a shop is not spamming, I checked this with Etsy.

Thanks guys for the tip on finding if you are in a Treasury on the left side window. I found 2 treasuries that I was not aware I was in from June. I commented on the treasury to thank them and that I was unaware I was featured.

Another tip, in case you want to know if you missed a treasury: go into the item in your shop and you will see how many times your item was featured in a treasury. Click on that and it show all the treasuries connected with your item. But...... the tip from above, (going to the home page of Etsy and clicking on treasuries and typing in the name of your shop) is by far, the quickest way to find out.

I've also missed some treasuries I was in because I didn't see it in my activity list and wasn't convo'd. Then about a week later I made a treasury and didn't think to let of the sellers know ... and it's received maybe 4 comments and barely more views.

Lesson learned :-)

I was in a Treasury also and missed it. I was so excited and love the exposure but didn't know it until I came upon it by accident. I'm new to Etsy and am trying to feel my way around! Any advice is appreciated
