Free Advertising on Facebook if you have over 50 likes?

A couple days ago someone was posting here about a facebook promotion going on where you get free advertising if your fan page has over 50 'likes'. I've worked on that this week and now have 54 'likes'- woo hoo!! But now I don't know how to get the free advertising. I tried starting the process of creating an add, hoping the discount would automatically be applied but that didn't happen. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks!!

It really helped to read through the discussions and through the facebook ad guides/help section even though it took a lot of time.

I applied last night after changing my page category from artist to local business,
also be prepared to have a phone number to put on the application or it won't go through (application said my mobile # was invalid so I put a phone number listed it as home# on my fb page contact info and marked it as private only to be seen by me and this worked).
After submitting the application a message comes back saying you'll get an email in 1-2 days with decision about approval for your $50 coupon.

I got the email approving my $50 ad coupon this morning! Am going to try to list my ad now.

I don't think you need 50 to get the free ads. I had 27 and I got the free $50 in ads.
