Hey! If you have not heard yet, if we are going to survive in the future, we all have to start google +ing. It's Facebook, but Google. The important thing is that participating will help you gain better SEO by providing back links to your products and shop. This IS the way of the future, whether we like it or not. Are you saying we have to sign up our shops to this google +1 or we will be penalized in a google search? This is the first I'm hearing of this and would like to know more.

There was a bit of excitement when Google released Google+~~but it died down really quickly. This seems to be a scheme from them for people to start using + or die a slow painful death.

Google+ actually isn't designed for business at this point. If you read their TOU, it actually states that business pages are NOT allowed at this point and it will be reevaluated in the future.

However, I do believe that Google+ will eventually take off and allow for the business page like Facebook has. But I'll wait till they announce it's ok. I don't want to build a page and then have it deleted.

Thanks for the update. I was just corrected by my boyfriend that I can now have my business page. The last time I checked they were deleting business pages due to the TOU. I'm going to have to look into working on a business page there now.

Just created my Google+ business page yesterday... haven't done too much with my personal page as of yet... but I was on Facebook for a couple years before that really took off- so we'll see!
