Focus on Baby or Open it up??

Hi All!

Thanks for any help in advance. So we started our personalized photo blocks with the focus toward babies (they're really adorable and I think are nursery appropriate). But I wonder if we are cutting ourselves short by limiting the products to babies/baby showers/pregnancy. I know the baby market is huge so that is why I think it's good for your brand to have a focus, but I'm wondering if sales would increase if I used different photos (e.g., wedding photos, pets, etc.) and different search terms and open my market? I'm torn and would appreciate any feedback. Thanks so much!

Two schools of thought from me:
Your shop title is Bebe which is good to have shop title and message board coordinate with your items and descriptions. The SEO will crawl through all of that and get you found. So all your baby items will be found.
The other thought is - you are right you are limiting yourself to just baby items when your products are really perfect for weddings, special occasions, pets and all around special moments.
I think if it were me I would open it up to the other aspects of life.
You've already had 2 sales in such a short time - you are bound for success.

Yes open to other types of photos! Weddings are huge!

Don't let your name stop you...you can always change it -- I did that recently.
A little bit of fuss/work, but worth it.

Open up, definitely. Not everyone has children (me included), but would still love one of those blocks. I would consider something like that for weddings definitely. You want lots of avenues into your shop. The more avenues, the more people will walk down them and into your shop
