First International Order

Hello everyone! I have offered international shipping since I opened, but did not get my first order until this morning. I was planning on grabbing a flat rate box and buying the postage online through USPS since I heard you can fill out the customs form there. Does anyone have any better advice? Thanks!

A flat rate box will have to be shipped priority. You will save A LOT of money shipping it first class mail (my prints are $10 more to ship priority). If you use paypal though, you have to do first class international at the post office.

I was also a little confused about this. I did set up a trade with someone from France and I'm not sure if I can do the postage online. Can you just use a regular bubble mailer with online Paypal postage? Or do you have to go to the post office?

You should be able to use any kind of mailer(I use round tubes). It's much cheaper to do the first class international instead of the flat rate boxes. But you're limited to 4 pounds I believe for first class international.

It looks like you can only do Express and Priority through Paypal, so I would recommend just going to the post office and doing first class - as long as you're under 4lbs.

Michelle - A bubble mailer is fine but you should def. take it to the post office and ship first class. You'll see a long row of forms on the counters when you walk in, and just need to grab a customs form. (Mine has two kinds but told me I could use either one). The form will ask for your address, the customers address, and the type of item you are sending, weight, and cost.
