Filtering by location

Hi Everyone
I have a question that I am hoping someone can answer. I recently did a search to see if my items are coming up so I could check my tags, titles, etc. This particular item came up when I did the search but when I changed the filter from "any shop location" to "Australia" my item disappeared from the view.

I personally always shop like this on Etsy, filtering for shops in Australia only, so it is a bit of a worry if other people also do this and my items are not showing up.

I checked the location of my shop and it is correct stating Brisbane, Australia. I have goggled this issue without luck. Does anyone know why this might be happening and how I can fix it? Is anyone else having this problem?

Did you recently update your location on Etsy? I know when I add new products to my site, it usually takes a bit (no more than a day) for my products to show up in the search. I know I recently added hats to it, and when i first added them they didn't show. I forgot about it till the next day and than they appeared. Maybe this is the same issue?

Thanks for the response Nikki. I have always had my location set at Brisbane, Australia. Hopefully someone may know the answer to this question.

Someone in another team I'm in had a similar issue, where their location was set to "town, UK" and it didn't come up in UK searches. They had to change it to "town, county, UK" as far as I remember. Try resetting your location and see if there's another option for Brisbane?
