Feedback?

So we just had our first sales last week. Packages have been delivered! BUT no feedback, yet. Is it ok to ask the buyers what they thought? We'd like to know since we are so new. What do you do to get feedback?

I find it's sometimes hard to get feedback as well, especially if your customer is new to etsy. In my handwritten note sent in the package I tell them to feel free to leave me feedback. I also have something to that effect in my automated message that is sent to the buyer at the time of purchase.

Congrats on your first sale! I hear that you shoudn't ask for feedback. But what Terah said is good.

I've had 131 sale since June 2012 and have only 43 feedback. So it's common not to get feedback here on Etsy. Good luck & happy sales.

Thanks for the advice. It's hard to wait and see. I guess that's the name of the game though.

I was so excited when I got my first feedback. It was 9 sales in. So I had just stopped waiting to see if I would get any, and then one day, positive feedback. :)
