Favorite Free Etsy Tool

Hi All! Someone thought it was a good idea to put me in the team spotlight (they have no idea what they've done).

When I started my shop it seemed like there was a lot of great advice about different tools available online for everything from comparing keywords to picture editing...but scouring the threads for those awesome sites was hard. Let's make a running list of our favorite *free* Etsy tools, along with what we use them for.

My newest find:
www.canva.com for making banners.

It was a little trickier than some other banner sites, but the results look way more professional. I also like TagWars (www.tools4etsy.com), but the site is currently under maintenance.

Canva is great, created my banner with them also, I need to try Gimp i don't have photoshop. Thank you

I also use Craftybase, to the people who were asking. Since we have multiple sales channels it's a great place to keep all our orders in once place - our accountant is very grateful when she can just download a spreadsheet that shows every single sale we've made for the time period. But like someone else said, it's tedious because you have to keep it updated.

Wow! Lots of great suggestions especially for the beginner. I love to design jewelry but have REALLY struggled with the business part of marketing, spread sheets, photos, banners- it can be over whelming at times. Thanks for the great suggestions. I wrote down notes and hope it helps! Thanks for everyone that has taken time to share suggestions!

Thank you so much for telling us about www.canva.com. I just made a nice banner from my shop. The site has a short tutorial to view prior to starting which shows you step by step how to create a banner or any other type of display.

Check out Marmalead. Some great training videos and recorded webinars.
They are always there to help.
Quick tips and more for max. SEO...put in your best keywords in your tags AND also the front of your title (front of title is weighted higher in search).
Just one and the many personal emails you shall receive signing up.

Oh I looove Pixlr Express (online) ! I mad my banner,shop image,in about account photos and more... :) And also edited some of the photos in it!

I've got a new phone which was suppose to have this awesome camera but it doesn't really so I edit a lot of my photos using ipiccy.com which is a great and easy to use site

I love Canva.com! I use it for my shop banner, profile picture, Facebook and Blog. Super easy and it's mostly free (unless you use graphic that has a price on it).
