Facebook Page

Hi everyone!
So I told myself a while back that I was going to get a facebook page for my shop when I got 100 sales. Now that I have 117 sales, I was wondering if it was a good idea to get a facebook page or not.
Do you think it would benefit my shop, or is it a waste of time?
Thank you!

Re: Facebook Page

I would take a look at this thread:

https://www.etsy.com/teams/5002/etsy-success/discuss/15732066/page/2?ref=team_page

I opened it asking about social media and I've gotten a lot of responses on FB! Just a though! :D

Re: Facebook Page

Facebook has changed a lot for businesses in the past 2 years. Business Facebook pages now have to pay an advertising fee if they want a post seen by everyone who follows that page, other wise only a handful of people might see the post. Without paying an ad fee, my last business post on FB for my fans was only seen by 1% of my FB followers. Facebook is "kind" enough to tell me how many people were shown my most.

Facebook can work if you want to spend the money to pay for your posts to be seen.

Re: Facebook Page

I agree with Mary, if you don't pay you won't have much from fb. I don't pay for my posts being seen and I know that just a handful of friends who really like my items see and like my posts.
Up to now I'm reluctant to pay on fb, and I find pinterest more effective.
