Facebook Advertising

I'm thinking about doing advertising on Facebook. I was wondering if anyone has tried it before and if it is worthwhile. I'm thinking about setting it up so I get charged per click instead of per view. If anyone has any insight I'd love to hear it.

Re: Facebook Advertising

Hi guys, I've tried one or two ads before with limited success. I ran it for about a week and paid per click, just as you're suggesting. I think I spent about $25 and got 5 new fans in the process. To my knowledge, none of them have bought anything so you figure that's about $5/new fan. Which, at first seems steep but if somewhere down the line they make a few purchases, it will pay off. Just my $.02 ;-)

Re: Facebook Advertising

I have ran a couple of ads. I really found it useful and beneficial. Make sure if you have a coupon (many codes out there) you use it for your first ad, after that it won't work. I worked hard on what the ad looked like and who it targeted and about 90% of the clicks I got produced a new fan. I figure once a new fan they receive updates and information whenever I provide it so it would be worth it to have a lifetime customer. I am also doing a Google ad with some credit I received. So far it is cheaper and working better - not sales but a lot of traffic. I hope this helps, just make sure you know who your customer is before you start.

Re: Facebook Advertising

My ad just got approved last night and I think I made a mistake on how much to spend the daily limit was on unlimited...

Anyways I've spent $15 so far and I gained over 80 page likes, and a 30% increase in shop traffic so far.
