Facebook Ads

I thought I'd post this in it's own thread since it will probably get lost in the post about Facebook giving out a $50 coupon.

When you use Facebook Ads, even if you have a coupon, they ask for a back-up funding source: your credit card. That credit card information STAYS in your personal facebook account information.

The ONLY way to remove that information from your facebook account is to shut down your Ad Managers account, which in turn means you cannot ever place a Facebook Ad again.

It took me two months and multiple e-mails (it was hard to find some place to contact them too!) to get my Ads Manager account shutdown, so that I could remove my credit card information from my personal account information. After going through the steps they tell you for shutting down an Ads Manager account, it got stuck in the "pending closure approval" stage, so I still could not remove my credit card information.

Just some friendly advice =) Doesn't mean you shouldn't use Facebook Ads..just something to keep in mind.
