Hey all,
So I live in London (UK), and I am currently visiting family in Montreal (Canada). Last night I went with my cousins to the Olympic stadium to visit a bunch of food trucks (was lovely by the way). I also happened to notice the Etsy on tour bus, so checked out the stall.
I'm finding it difficult to know how much I liked their set up or not. They had three sellers there and loads of tables for people to eat at. I didn't find the people at all friendly, and the staff seemed more interested in taking pictures of the event and standing around. I didn't at all feel at ease talking to anyone and found the whole thing extremely fake.
For the first time in my life as part of the Etsy journey, I felt I was merely part of a machine aimed at wanting to make as much money as possible rather than part of an awesome community.
