This question is for those of you who feel less than comfortable with computers, cameras, technology, etc.
Was starting your Etsy business discouraging / overwhelming / frustrating because of the amount of technology involved? What was the learning curve like? How long did it take you to get comfortable with basics like posting listings and monitoring conversations and sales?
Has anyone thought of paying someone to manage postings and photography for them (ie $8 an hour for a few hours a week?)
I'm trying to gather some feedback and expectations to share with my mother who is the best crafter I know and would certainly have an amazing shop, but has very limited interaction with the computer. I live across the country so can't exactly be on hand to help out on a day-to-day basis...
