Sonia's 3-step cure is fantastically written and a good reminder that we need to focus on the customer's desires when marketing. I am NOT experiencing a "no sales" problem, but am always looking for more ways to cram my busy schedule even fuller! Thanks for the info as always =)Cindy

Just read copyblogger's 3 steps post. It's thoughtful and will fit artisan's who can make small "bullets" and possibly production work. It doesn't fit me or many other artists whose work is one of a kind major scale art. There might be a way it could be adapted, but I'm not seeing how just yet. Or maybe, my problem is that my "bullets" (inexpensive one of a kind earrings) aren't getting seen. No matter how good your mousetrap, if you only build the thing and no one knows about it, no one is going to beat any sort of path to your door.

The thing about Copyblogger is, they're selling the WordPress platform for bloggers. Once, when it was highly relevant to the topic (can't remember the topic exactly now), I asked, "what advice do you have for someone selling on a third-party platform, like Etsy?" Their answer: Stop... stop being a "sharecropper" and start your own site, blog, etc.

Just remember, everything shared in Copyblogger, and they share it all very artfully, is ultimately to harvest their own "crop" of WordPress users, to influence you to buy into the WordPress platform. Which is fine, just something to know.
