Etsy Open Call: Now accepting applications

Hi team!
Are you currently a member of Etsy Wholesale, or considering growing your business through wholesale? I have an exciting opportunity to share! For the second year in a row, Etsy Wholesale is hosting Open Call, an event that brings together buyers from top retail stores and fresh talent from the Etsy Wholesale community. You could have the chance to pitch your line to a panel of heavy-hitting retailers at Etsy’s Brooklyn headquarters, and win a purchase order to see your products in stores this holiday season.

At Open Call, retailers will be meeting up to 50 selected designers, looking at their samples, giving critiques and suggestions—and, most importantly, placing orders for their stores.

I am too far from New York, but I was wondering something. I keep getting asked by people if I do wholesale, they want some of my products, some was 30, others want 300. Is there something I should be weary of in the Etsy community? Or is there a special group I need to be in, like the wholesale group. I would love to sell wholesale, but I just don't know when to accept the request or by who. Anyone have advice, I'm still kinda new and learning daily? Thanks in advance:)
