Re: Editing Pictures Using Photoshop

Do you already own photoshop?

I have found that for basic editing, Picasa works well for me. I am currently learning how to use Gimp, but it's a tough learning curve.

Re: Editing Pictures Using Photoshop

Hi! I found two interesting articles about editing jewelry photos in photoshop
(I myself use photoshop, so I'll read them right now :-) )

Also, if you google the words: editing jewelry photoshop, there are many interesting stuff to read.

Re: Editing Pictures Using Photoshop

I wrote a tutorial for ePHOTOzine.com about how to do exactly that in GIMP. How to brighten a photo, and make a white background truly white:

If you already have Photoshop you can easily adapt the same technique to use in Photoshop.

If you don't have Photoshop already, I highly recommend using GIMP since it's got everything you would need from Photoshop, but it's free!
