EU VAT/VAT MOSS

Hi everyone, I was all set to launch a range of instant download sewing patterns and tutorials, but have held off because of the EU VAT rulings and Etsy's stance on the whole thing. I just wondered what everyone else is going to do, and if anyone else is apprehensive (like I am) about the new rulings rolling out to physical products in a year or so.

I really needed to launch and earn from my digital products, as I have disabling illness and need to reduce my physical work. For the same reason, I can't take on more paperwork, which is what the EU VAT compliance entails.

Hi, I don't sell digital services but I am apprehensive if they are going to install this law for physical products. It would be a lot of extra work and research.

There has been a discussion on the Dutch Etsy Team with some people that do sell digital services. Maybe with Googel Translate it can give you some more information? (https://www.etsy.com/teams/8805/nederlandse-etsy-community/discuss/15657852/page/1?ref=team_page)

There is also a petition (https://www.change.org/p/pierre-moscovici-a-unilateral-suspension-of-the-introduction-of-the-new-eu-... to stop this new law on physical products.

I think we will have to wait and see what the future will bring.
