Does Etsy auto darken the photos?

Because my pictures look fine in Photoshop and on my laptop. As soon as I add them to Etsy, the pictures are MUCH darker, and the quality isn't great...

This is a big hindrance for me, because I have too over brighten each picture, and sometimes they end up looking way too overexposed...

Does anyone have a good solution to this?

Etsy, please stop doing this..!

They do something! I always keep pic monkey open when listing. Even after properly editing photos once put into the Etsy listing I usually need to tweak the exposure and color again.

I feel like they must lower the resolution to some extent. I've never noticed a problem with my photos' coloring or brightness, but I certainly think the image isn't as clear once it's uploaded.

I thought that was only me! I always felt that it looked right on my laptop and as soon as it was uploaded and listed, I felt the grayish hue!

Mine aren't a lot darker, but they are definitely a little darker than they are on my laptop.

Re: Does Etsy auto darken the photos?

I wish Etsy would stop doing this. I have too many pieces to photograph, and it's a HUGE hassle to go back and tweak them again and again because of Etsy.
