Re: Do you use Pinterest?

Not anymore, but items from my shops are still pinned. I don't mind it, free promotion.

My Garden Journal was pinned by someone yesterday and ended up being repinned 20 times!! How cool!

Re: Do you use Pinterest?

Today I got 11 views on an item in my shop from pinterest -- an item that I hadn't pinned myself (and that I would probably prefer had NOT been pinned for all the copyright reasons listed above).

What I can't figure out is how to find the pin those views originated from. Since I didn't make it and can't control it, I have no idea where it is or what's happened to it, which is really frustrating to me. This isn't the first time I've tried to back-track a pinterest pin, which I only know exists because of Etsy stats (which also show me what item was viewed from pinterest, which is how I know they're things I didn't pin myself), but I've never been able to find the original pin of even one of my items.

Does anybody know why this is or how it works? Is it something with the search feature on pinterest that I'm never able to identify the source of my pinned items?

I considered starting a new thread for this question but thought those who've already answered here are probably most likely to have some kind of answer, if there is one.
