Disappointed - Don't know what to do?!

I recently bought some seeds on etsy. Shipping took awhile but I finally received them like 2 weeks ago and I was so excited. Everything looked great except they forgot to send me one of the packs of seeds I ordered. I have contacted the shop owner like 10 times with no response. I have waited two weeks and I don't know what to do. I would hate to leave bad feedback but I am tempted. Advice needed!! thanks

File a complaint with etsy and a dispute with PayPal. Before your 45 days are up. IF your 45 days are up...file a complaint with Etsy and hope for the best. And if you don't get satisfaction then...leave feedback. That is what it's there for.

Have you checked the seller's shop announcement to see if there's some sort of problem?

If you are contacting them via convo, try also sending an email (the address is on your purchase).

If you don't get a response very shortly, I would file a paypal claim.

Remember that you only have 45 days to file a claim with paypal so don't wait too long.

Hi,

I can see why you hesistate to leave poor feedback, nobody wants to be the bad guy...

But it is not your responsibility to think about the seller and their customer service. It is your responsibility to let them know what they did is not okay.
Otherwise people never learn....

As a seller and a buyer I have experienced both sides - and just because I value my customers as a seller I am able to require a certain standart as a buyer...

Never hesitate to tell someone they are not doing it right...they might just not be aware...

I would email the seller and check their profile as crochetgal advises but if there is no reply I would proceed with feedback and a claim...

I tried to file a claim with etsy but it wouldn't let me because they used tracking... Not sure how I would get around that??

If you paid by paypal you can file a claim for 'items not received'.

Then simply state that you only got part of what you purchased.

However if you paid via direct Checkout on Etsy the only thing you can do is file a claim with your credit card company.
