Direct Traffic

I am taking a poll....

When you look at your Etsy Stats, specifically, Etsy traffic & Direct traffic. what are your numbers like in relativity to one another?

For example, if I have 100 views, usually half will be from Etsy and half from Direct Traffic. Then a smathering of other sites.

So I get about 50% Direct traffic. I think of this as good, as customers are looking specifically for me. Am I right?

most of mine comes from etsy, but I seem to always get 1-3 views from either direct traffic, google, or both. Pretty bummed that the google searches don't always show up itemized in the search results... I'd really like to know what people are googling to find my shop.

I always see direct traffic as good, also. The more direct traffic you have, the more it increases your SEO, right?

Yesterday, 40 from Etsy.com and 14 from direct traffic.

Mine are mostly from Etsy, maybe and 80/20 ratio.

Thank you for explaining direct traffic. I've noticed lately that about 40% of my views are direct traffic.

Depends on the day for me...but I am usually more likely to make sales the higher my direct traffic is. I would say it's on average 300/30

For me:
Etsy is top source, closely followed by Stumbleupon, then at just over 50% of the Etsy figures comes Direct.
After that is Google, Facebook, Creative Connections and my Blog
