Digital sellers - how do you promote?

I have seen a lot of very successful digital sellers on Etsy, and was wondering how they promote. If you're reading this, I would appreciate it if you could share your pearls of wisdom!

Twitter and pinterest seem to work for me. Plus I have a newsletter people can sign up to.

You could follow or like the products/shops that use digital items.
I use a lot of digital arts and sometimes, digital art shops get my attention when they like/follow my shop. Some also message me with a coupon code. It might be considered spamming, but I personally don't mind. I hope that helps.

My point is, just keep in touch with your market, which is the other Etsy sellers who use digital arts. (:

That's hard to say but I personally spend more as a business owner than I would if I were just doing it as a hobby.

But of course, you can cater to both group and reach out to both. I'm just saying the kind of marketing that have worked on me.

I'm aiming more for the crafters, but the final target customer, whether I sell to Etsy sellers or not, would probably be the crafters themselves anyway.

What would be the difference if I focused on one or the other, in terms of approach?
