Digital Download Quantity/Renew Question

I have just started writing and selling my crochet patterns. So far I have had 4 orders!!!

Right now when someone buys it, I have to manually go in and renew the listing. I thought the auto renew would work, but that seems to only work when the listing has expired, not sold out.

If I increase the quantity of each digital download would that keep me from having to manually renew each item?

I would like to keep constant listings in my shop.

Increase the number of items in each listing so the automatic renewal will keep your shop full. Etsy helps us by showing us which purchased listings are sold out and need a manual renewal.

If I am not mistaken, if you put only "1" in "Quantity" on the listing page, there is nothing to "automatically" renew when you sell that pattern. You will have to put "2" or whatever number you choose (other than 1), for the "automatic" renewal to function.
