How much of a deposit should I request upfront on a custom bridal order? Should I ask for half? Then the rest of the cost when everything is done and ready to be sent?

I used to charge a 50% deposit but then switched to a flat $100. It was just easier than having to calculate 50% of the total order all of the time :)

I would say a quarter or half. If they don't follow through there is no money back grantee. I personally have gotten people who didn't pay for a large order and I failed to get a deposit before hand.

I would say a desposit of half the cost and then the other half to be paid once you finished the order.
