Days with most traffic

Hey everyone,

We've been keeping track of the visits to our shop since opening during May, just wondering what are the busiest says of the week with most page visits. How's the trend like for you guys?

I have been open since mid-April and my views are all over the place! I can't seem to figure out when my busiest day is... it changes week to week! But I can say, definitely NOT the weekends. But perhaps that is because I'm away from my pc more and therefor not doing as much promoting. Hmm.

I'm sure it varies greatly for each shop, but my best days are always Monday and Tuesdays for some reason. Particularly between 12pm-3pm pacific time.

it also varies on the product and your market. to find out the best times for the market I read you can check into the google analytics and click on vistors/visitor trending/time on site/there is a clock just above the graph that gives you a break down of the hours in which your traffic has been the greatest.

I think it is the hours which are most important since people do grab the time to shop for items around their other activities or within their schedules.

I've had this shop for 3 years now and I stopped worrying about which day or time of day I had the most traffic after the first year.

About the only thing that I do know is that I tend to get more views and sales when I'm not online than when I am!

Kiomade, I had to do it about 3 times before it set up, so all I can say is try again!

It does give you a lot of info.

I did look at the times and days as Artby suggested and looks like it is all over the place, but better on Wed and Thurs for me. Who knows!

I know crochetgal! The two times I have had sales this year was when I didnt go near etsy for like 3 days cause I was away or busy so strange

For @crochetgal and @mariposavintage, maybe your customers are very shy and wait till you are offline to buy their favorite items. I'm kidding because there is no way someone would know if an Etsian is online or not.

It is like the saying "watched pot never boils" !
