Daunting task....

Great news this week for us digital sellers. Etsy is giving us the option to upload all our files so the customer has instant access upon purchasing!

I can't believe the timing, because 3 months ago I spent weeks (literally) uploading all my files to crafthub, a website that does the same type of thing, as etsy didn't then.

Now I am trying to gear myself up to do the whole thing again.... That's go into every one of my 107 listings, add the relevant file/s, edit the instructions for the customers etc. And change my shop announcement, policies, confirmation email and so on....

I am only so daunted as I know how long it takes!!

But still- thank you etsy for this marvellous new feature- it will save me $8 a month which I am paying to crafthub at present.

Has anyone else done this yet? I need some motivating words please!

I've been working on it! I've been doing about 10 a day. Unfortunately only about 70 of my items are small enough to allow me to do instant download, but hey that's 70 items I wont have to babysit anymore! I am so excited about this feature. I was gearing up to switch sites because of it, so perfect timing for me! :)

Just think of how many people sell digital files that AREN'T bothering to upload--either ever or right away, or those that aren't even aware of the option and thus aren't going to do it either. You'll be ahead of the game by doing it right away; it'll give you an edge over the rest of the digital file sellers.

And remember... how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.

Yes I need to do a few a day and just get on with it! Lol.

(If it could be done on the iPad I'd have no problem!)
