This has nothing to do with Etsy Success or operating your Etsy shop.
But if you've had your shop on Etsy for more than six months, you know Danielle Maveal - a.k.a. Daniellexo. She left Etsy recently to pursue her own small business consulting business. She was larger than life as Seller Education Lead. She taught me, us, a lot about managing a successful business on Etsy. You can read about her final farewell post here.
http://bit.ly/agoodbyeWell, Danielle's little rescue chihuahua named Myrtle - she was a puppy mill pooch that Danielle adopted about 1 1/2 year ago - ran from the dog sitter's leash while walking near the Gorlick Park near Greenpoint section of Brooklyn more than a week ago. She heard a loud noise and got spooked and ran. She is microchipped so IF she was taken into any dog facility, they'll know to contact the chip maker. But so far, she is nowhere to be found. Danielle has an army of volunteers looking for Myrtle and flyering everywhere in the vicinity but no sign of the scared little pooch still.
Her heart wrenching story was featured on Eyewitness News (ABC) and Good Morning America this past Sunday.
If you know ANYONE who might know someone in Brooklyn, please spread the news. Danielle is a dog lover who travelled hundreds of miles to rescue dogs from kill shelters from South and she won't be the same without Myrtle. There is a $1,000 reward for the little chihuahua.
Please share her flyer (
