Hello...I wasn't sure if there was a specific thread for shop critiques, so please tell me if there is so. Otherwise, I would love to ask for a critique from anyone who is willing.

I opened my Etsy shop in 2011, then almost immediately closed it again due to issues at home. I only recently re-opened this past month with new items, a new theme, and a whole new look. I am hoping that I can get your opinions, advice and thoughts on anything in and about the shop.

Love your banner, first off.

One thing I'd suggest is-make all your listing pictures similar. Same background I mean. So that way it looks seamless. I like the brick or wood background a lot.

your shop is really cute! I added it to my favorites :)

I'd say your titles are too short. You should include some multi-word keywords in your title like: henna illustration, india ink print, etc

Then put those matching keywords as tags in phrase form. So, one tag for india ink print and one for henna print etc.

With art I think the story behind the piece is important for some people. Maybe include your inpspiration in a few of your descriptions.

Your sections are important for SEO. Be sure to try to use multi-word descriptive phrases as sections.

Maybe your most popular prints can be your featured items. I notice you don't have any.

Lastly, add more items. 15 is not enough to be seen in the sea of art. Maybe some of your prints can also come in color. Your banner is so colorful I thought I'd see some matching prints in your shop.

Hi Michelle! You have some truly fabulous work in your shop!

The first thing I noticed was your titles. Some of them start off with names, like Creative Explosion, and these are very important words for search. The first few words in your title will help Etsy's software decide if your items match a buyers search terms. Not many people will search for Creative Explosion, but a lot of people will search for Illustrated Print, or some of the key words Brittany mentioned.

There's a great resources I found in the Seller's Handbook for finding good key words. It's from Google, and you just type in a search term, and it will tell you how popular it is. I linked it below, hopefully it works.

Thank you all so much! This was really helpful and I'm going to be doing some updating to the shop it looks like :) I definitely need to figure out tags and SEO...I'm just not as good at it as I wish I was. Thank you!
